Go big or go home!
Lensed by the legendary Steven Meisel, Versace’s latest campaign image includes 54 (yes, fifty four!) top and emerging models.
With this bold experiment, the Italian luxury label pushes the boundaries of the traditional advertising methods, creating the longest advertising image ever made.
The image captures the entire cast on a white background, posing side by side, all clad in Versace FW18 collection.
This panoramic visual is a part of a wider campaign, titled “The Clans of Versace”, which has the purpose of highlighting the diversity and inclusion of Versace brand.
This shot is “a true representation of clans that embody everything Versace stands for — diversity expressed together with innovation in the fearless representation of what it means to be daring.”, said Donatella in the press release.
The fashionable crowd of men and women featured in this game-changing campaign includes some new faces, as well as Versace longtime muses.
Gigi and Bella Hadid, Kaia Gerber, Iman Hammam, Stella Maxwell, Grace Elizabeth, Lexi Boling, Natalie Westling, Fei Fei Sun, Hiandra Martinez, Julia Nobis, Vittoria Ceretti, Adut Akech and we could go on and on. And on.
Before we leave you, just a quick fyi. Versace pre-Fall collection has landed!
Rich in neoclassical and baroque prints, the collection, representing kind of coming-back to Donatella Versace’s family roots, nourishes Gianni Versace legacy and connect the iconic brand with both loyal and new Versace fans (that may not even be born while he was still alive).
